POLISH JEWELLERY AND FASHION SHOW

Grandiose fashion show of the award-winning Urban Fusion collection of Natasha Pavluchenko and the amber beauties linking modernity with ethnic traditions of Ambermoda founded by Danuta and Mariusz Gliwińscy. The pieces of the fashion collection made of high quality fabrics produced in Poland are adorned by unique amber jewels from Ambermoda combining amber with steel, leather straps, silk and other surprising materials.

ART MOMENTS 2011 AUTUMN – URBAN TACTICS

Hybrid Art Management Urban Tactics, an urban art exhibition exploring the frontiers of graffiti and presenting artists from abroad is the flagship program of the contemporary fine art exhibition series organised this autumn under the title Art Moments by Hybridart.
On 8th October (Saturday) the creative process can be seen in the framework of a live-painting program between 12:00 and 19:00. Following that, the opening event starts at 19:00 with music by SoulClap and Dj Suhaid.

Sequel to „Por-hüvely” premiered at last year's Design Week, the creation of Edit Szűcs and the Collective of Natural Disasters is based on the presence of three choreographer-dancers and three choreographies unfolding abreast. Dancers appear as organic parts of the space-installations built around their bodies that operate as their own, visible auras ready for continuous change. The writings of Krisztina Tóth and Gábor Schein completing the visual effect create a sound-atmosphere building upon the texture of words generating dynamic connections with the tools of synchrony, asynchrony and contrast.

The collection of Szilvia Pállfy and Teréz Szűcs can be seen at the special fashion show organised with GoBe Dance Company. According to the approach of the designers, Hungarian clothing culture still has a lot of unexploited beauty potential that is waiting to be discovered and redefined in order to be the basis for wearable fashion for everyone.

KEPP SHOWROOM DIGITAL FASHION SHOW

The members of KEPP showroom (Anett Hajdú, Teréz Havancsák, Szandra Hofstädter and Adél Kovács) founded in 2009 graduated from the textile department of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in the summer of 2011. Their 2011/12 autumn-winter collection is presented in the framework of the grandiose virtual fashion show conceived for this year's Design Week. They worked together with ZOA, winner of the Paint Up! 2011 building painting competition in realising the spectacular digital tricks, amazing animation and screening.

MAKETTLABOR TARPAULIN WORKSHOP AND SELF FASHION SHOW

At the RE+WORKSHOP everyone can make a bag suiting his/her taste and style in MakettLabor's studio recycling tarpaulins previously used for advertisements camouflaging buildings under renovation. The bags can then be shown at the “self fashion show” starting at 20:00. The organisers welcome everyone who would like to step on the runway or would just proudly like present the bag he/she made at previous workshops.

Fantastic form, light and sound in 80 minutes, inspired by László Moholy-Nagy's sketch for a film titled Dynamic of the Metropolis. The NEGATIVE VARIETÉ silhouette theatre presents a Bauhaus tale for children by Jugglers Illuminated in the language of dreamlike, living photos. A performance where the sounds of light are embodied in the world of dynamic forms, and noises materialise. Listen to the audible rhythm of the shadows!

ECO FASHION SHOW, AUTUMN-WINTER COLLECTION 2011

The Printa Upcycle Collection of eco products made of used jeans and old cotton t-shirts, printed with special patterns was first introduced in the spring of 2011. The collection designed for men and women is updated with new, autumn-winter pieces during Budapest Design Week. The entire collection is produced locally with the collaboration of local artists, thus completing the eco-approach.

Tamás Náray's 2012/13 Autumn/winter international collection feat. Fashion Guide

At the fashion show the most recent collection of Tamás Náray is presented for the first time ever, before Berlin Fashion Week. The original creations of the designer committed to classic, French-style elegance are worn by women of high standard who, as the designer has phrased it “do not aim at bearing down men, but conquering them”, as well as by stars, famous singers and actresses; the face of the fashion house's couture-á-porter line is Nóra Ördög television presenter who has by now become a fashion icon.

For practising mothers, business women and tractor girls alike.
